Are there any hidden fees with Lumi?
No. You pay a transparent 2% fee on each transaction — that's it. No subscription fees, no withdrawal charges, no currency conversion markups. The rate you see is the rate you get.
How does Lumi's rate compare to my bank?
European banks typically charge 1.5–3% in foreign transaction fees plus a currency markup of 2–5%. With airport exchanges, the spread can reach 8–10%. Lumi uses near-interbank rates with a single 2% fee, saving you up to €120 per €1,000 spent compared to the worst alternatives.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can pay?
You can make payments from as little as €1. There are no minimum transaction requirements. Maximum limits depend on your account verification level and local regulations.
