How does Lumi's rate compare to my bank?
European banks typically charge 1.5–3% in foreign transaction fees plus a currency markup of 2–5%. With airport exchanges, the spread can reach 8–10%. Lumi uses near-interbank rates with a single 2% fee, saving you up to €120 per €1,000 spent compared to the worst alternatives.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can pay?
